On 28 July 2014, it will be 100 years since the start of World War 1. Our Genealogy Branch will be holding a display at Percy Thomson Art Gallery for 3 weeks from 28 July, commemorating the servicemen and women from Central Taranaki who served in WW1. In conjunction with this display, there will be a competition for local Primary & Secondary pupils to research a family member or a person who lived in their district, who served in WW1.  Click here for more information.
