Who are we?

We are a Branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists.

Our aims are to.........

foster and promote the study of Family History,Genealogies and kindred subjects

encourage accurate and scholarly research ito the histories of New Zealand families

encourage the preservation of records having a genealogical or historical value

foster awareness of family links and knowledge of heritage

advance the education of the public of New Zealand in these studies

We are all volunteers who readily give  our time and expertise to assist others.

We have built up a wide range of resources which reflect family life in Central Taranaki since early settlement and people who have lived in new Zealand in New Zealand since record keeping began.
